LunaPaw is designed to bring calm and freshness to pet-shared small homes. Inspired by the gentle, fluid movement of a jellyfish, symbolising relaxation and balance, it combines soft ambient lighting with subtle scent diffusion to keep spaces smelling pleasant and stress-free. Thoughtfully engineered for easy maintenance, LunaPaw enhances everyday wellbeing through smart, sensory-driven design.
Pet owners living in small homes often struggle with lingering odours and a lack of fresh air circulation, leading to discomfort for both people and their pets. Existing solutions are bulky, noisy, or overly technical, leaving a gap for a calm, compact, and aesthetically pleasing design that enhances wellbeing while maintaining a fresh, relaxing environment.
Primary research for LunaPaw used a mixed-method approach, combining an online survey with cat owners and semi-structured interviews with veterinary professionals. This process explored how small living environments influence pet wellbeing and owner comfort. The findings highlighted ongoing challenges with odour, stress, and limited space, revealing a need for a calm, sensory-driven solution that prioritises both emotional comfort and pet safety.
